We have
approximately 100 breeding cows and 150 youngstock. These
animals are milk fed when young and are fed all the second
cutting grass hay. This is available to them 24 hours a
day. They are on pasture for about 5 months out of the year,
(May-August).
We have
a large enclosed calving area. Our calving season comes
early in the spring when our pastures are still wet so we
do our calving in the enclosed area. Our animals are well
maintained by the Kulshan Veterinary staff.
